
Nathan Loda (b. 1989, Vienna, VA) is an American realist oil painter. Loda received a MFA degree George Mason University in 2015 and a BFA in painting from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV in 2011.
Loda lives and works in a little town called Homer, in central New York. He paints full time in his home studio. His wife and two little girls are his constant muses and their dog Blaze is his closest friend.
They live in a little farm cottage on land going back to his 6th great grandfather, Thomas Gould Alvord. He acquired the land via his service in the Revolutionary War and the Military Land Grants. Lodas’ cousins continue farming the land and often helps on the farm when not in the studio.
