Description
I created this original 20″ x 16″ oil on linen painting to celebrate the great fun and enjoyment of days gone fishing. From the writings of Sir Izaak Walton and Teddy Roosevelt to the modern tv shows like River Monsters and Meateater, fishing has captivated the masses, including myself, for centuries. I used my childhood Playmobil toy to create a still life where a youthful imagination brings that big summer bass lurking in the water below, ready to strike the favorite lure.
