Description
In this painting I wanted to capture the warm glow of an autumn morning, the spirit of the adventures of Robin Hood, and an enigmatic narrative around the Archer, Forest, and Deer. The painting blends the world of Still life, Fantasy, and Surrealism while maintaining a level of realism that is easily observible to the viewer. The figure stepping out of the photograph is a childhood image of US President Dwight D. Eisenhower whom had a great love for the adventures in the outdoors. The Playmobil figure and deer were my childhood toys and I created the poster pinned in the background to set the stage and create the overall mood of the painting.
