I created this 24″ x 18″ contemporary still life painting to portray some of the story of Theodore Roosevelt, his book “Ranch Life and the Hunting Trail,” the painter Frederic Remington, and the Dakota Badlands that monumental in the life of Roosevelt.
Description
This 24″ x 18″ Oil on panel painting pays homage to Roosevelts book, “Ranch Life and the Hunting Trail,” as well as the famous Western Artist Frederic Remington, whose paintings serve as illustrations in Roosevelts book. I used one of Remingtons images of a Branco buster for the poster design I created in the background and my childhood Playmobil toys as representations of Roosevelt around his camp fire in the Badlands of the Dakotas.
